The company operates in more than 130 countries and has resource centers across the US with an employee base of more than 65,000 worldwide.

A large and dispersed workforce coupled with the pressure to adhere to various laws made the routine employee enquiries and other Human Resource (HR) functions cumbersome and time-consuming for the client. In addition, the disintegrated HR data only added to the challenge. Besides, the cost of deploying additional resources to tackle routine functions constrained the HR budgets.
To address these challenges, the client was seeking technology solutions that would facilitate optimal utilisation of resources and seamless integration of payroll data across its operations. This would reduce costs, free up critical resources, help focus on core competencies and enable effective decision making.
While evaluating various available choices, outsourcing emerged as a viable and cost-effective option - outsourcing would help rationalise costs, provide resources to manage the process and improve quality and productivity. The company selected Sparsh to handle its complete payroll operations.

Sparsh deployed trained resources to manage the entire payroll operations of the client. Sparsh leveraged its strong domain and IT expertise, to deliver high-quality service while remaining cost-effective. Sparsh used the six-sigma methodology to ensure quality and to prepare a flowchart of the entire monthly, quarterly, and yearly activities based on which a centralised payroll system was created for the client. This system manages -
- LTA reports
- Monthly salary summary and reconciliation
- Monthly statutory report such as ITAX, PTAX and PF report
- Monthly miscellaneous reports such as loan reports, LIC reports, and food vouchersQuarterly ETDS returns and EDLI report, newly joined and resigned employee report
- Half-yearly bonus, gratuity and super annuation report, labors welfare fund report
- Yearly ETDS, Professional tax, newly joined and resigned employee report
Sparsh first prepares the input calendar, clarifies further payroll processing, reconciles all the data obtained and then sends all the reports and pay slips to the client. In addition, Sparsh also provided statutory payment services like PTAX, ITAX, ETDS payments.
